Making Luxury Beds Since 1924
It Started with a Spring!
Through innovation and market leading mattress designs, Sleepeezee has grown into one of the most well-known bed manufacturers in the world.
Looking for something? You’re in the right place. Sleepeezee have a wide range of mattresses to suit all sleepers and spaces. Whether you’re looking for a single mattress, double mattress, or a king size mattress, they have plenty of options available to give you the perfect night’s sleep. Remember to consider your sleeping position when choosing your mattress, as this can have an effect on your overall levels of comfort and support. For example, a memory foam mattress will offer good support for side sleepers, but may feel slightly more uncomfortable if your natural sleeping position is on your front.
It’s also worth considering your temperature when you sleep. If you tend to overheat or feel cold during the night then temperature regulating materials might be the right option for you. For example, the Sleepeezee Cooler range uses StayCoolTM gel to keep your temperature in check during the night. Whether it’s a single bed mattress, small double mattress or double bed mattress, the level of firmness will ultimately impact the support you feel when lying down. Your body shape, weight, and sleeping position are key factors in choosing the right level of firmness, which is why they’ve broken it down into soft, medium, firm and extra firm categories, giving you a range of options to choose from.
All of their mattresses are carefully manufactured using traditional techniques and quality materials to ensure that each detail is perfect for your sleep space. When it comes to the perfect night’s sleep, leave the rest to us.
Through innovation and market-leading mattress designs, Sleepeezee has grown into one of the most well-known bed manufacturers in the world. Every Sleepeezee product is made at our factory in Rochester, Kent, where over 300 expert craftspeople build bespoke beds to their premium standards.
Every detail is diligently checked for consistency and quality. This allows each and every one of their customers to be reassured that the bed they are investing in will provide them with the perfect night’s sleep.
With traditional family values at the heart of their business, they aim to support both national and local charities that are important to their colleagues. To date, they have donated over £100,000 to Macmillan Cancer Support and continue to support both the British Heart Foundation and Ellenor – their local hospice providing care for adults and children at home. At Sleepeezee they believe in the welfare of the planet and our people, so they aim to source their materials from sustainable suppliers, as well as ensuring that no waste from their factory goes to landfill.
Striving for quality and great value in everything they do, sustainability is at the forefront of Sleepeezee’s practices. This approach means that all of their timber suppliers are FSC certified, ensuring that any timber used in their products is purchased from sustainably managed forests. They also use a wide range of natural materials in their beds, including British wool, silk, cashmere and horsehair.
Theyare also active supporters of the Campaign for Wool, which supports British sheep farmers and promotes the benefits of wool.
Sleepeezee's customers are as conscious about the environment as they are. That’s why they have been leading the way when it comes to sustainable practices in the manufacturing industry.
From reducing their carbon footprint and supporting initiatives designed to limit their reliance on fossil fuels to responsibly sourcing materials and investing in their regeneration, they are committed to making a difference.
They have been carbon neutral since 2017 and are very proud to say that no waste has gone to landfill since 2012. From offsetting their carbon emissions to planting trees in their community, they’re striving for sustainability in all they do. Since 2017, they have offset a total of 1,643 tonnes of CO₂ from within their factory.
Newly installed for 2021, 591 energy saving solar panels have been fitted across their entire 9,376 m2 manufacturing facility in Kent.
The panels, made from silicon will help generate power for 25 percent of their manufacturing plant’s energy, while the remaining 75 percent will be purchased through renewable electricity.
At Sleepeezee, they’re proud to be Royal Warrant holders. A Royal Warrant of Appointment is a mark of recognition of those who have supplied goods or services to the households of HM The Queen, HRH The Duke of Edinburgh or HRH The Prince of Wales for at least five years.
A Royal Warrant is regarded as demonstrating the highest standards of excellence, quality and service and is a mark of the best of British. Sleepeezee first received a Royal Warrant to HM The Queen in 1963. They then went on to receive a Royal Warrant to HRH The Prince of Wales in 1985 and have held this ever since.
Sleepeezee are members of the Royal Warrant Holders Association, which ensures the continued existence of the Royal Warrant as a treasured and respected institution.
Today, there are around 800 Royal Warrant holders across all industries, representing a huge cross-section of trade and industry, from individual craftspeople to global multi-nationals. All these businesses are united by a commitment to the highest standards of service, quality and excellence.
They’re proud to work with the Royal Warrant Holders Association to promote traditional crafts. They’ve created a luxury range of beds dedicated to raising funds and awareness of the Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST), an initiative by the association that helps educate talented craftspeople through college courses, apprenticeships and one-on-one training with master artisans.
